Hari Raya Celebration

It's that time of year again for all Malaysians to celebrate Hari Raya. Here is just a brief description on what we will be doing on that day as well as the details of the event: Date: Saturday, 24th October 2009 Venue: St.Francis Hall, University of Birmingham @ The Guild Time Induction (11.30 am - 1.00 pm) Lunch (1.00 pm until finished) Price £10 (membership card + lunch) £7 (Lunch) £5 (membership card) On the day itself, we will first be having a get-to-know session. This will involve introducing the current committee members, a short slide-show presentation of our previous events and some fun and games before our lunch. As for the Hari Raya gathering, we will be serving Hari Raya dishes (menu - nasi lemak, rendang ayam or beef, satay, fried noodles, curry chicken, sago, etc).
